About Me
My name is Tuoyo (Tu-or-your) I am a Clevedon based baker with a passion for baking and a love of modelling. My background in Electronic Engineering is my foundation skillset on how I approach and design my cakes and also the inspiration behind my business name.
The Cake Engineer started as a hobby while at university but after the birth of daughter whom was born prematurely, I found baking to be therapeutic and throw myself completely into the process and this slowly blossomed into a business in 2020, just two days before the lockdown was announced.
My delicious cake is well loved and recognised as one of the best in Clevedon.
Part of my business ethos to build community and as such have collaborated with various other local businesses to serve the community where possible, tackling the stigma around food insecurity by offering food hampers as well as running a free food cooking classes during the summer. Use food as a tool to introduce Kids to the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths)
For nearly 5 years, I have consistent delivered the most incredible tasting cakes and deliciously decorated cookies to customers all over the UK
